Jonathan Kearley passed away unexpectedly on January 3, 2021.

John was born June 21, 1990 in Turlock, CA.  He attended Chatom and Mt. View Schools and graduated from Turlock High in 2009.  He attended MJC and transferred to CSU, Fresno where he earned his BS, cum laude, in Agricultural Business.  John worked for the USDA Farm Service Agency first as a Program Technician and recently as a Farm Loan Officer.

As a child, John was involved in BSA with his brothers and father.  He achieved his Eagle Scout Award when he was 15.  While in high school he played football and was very active with the FFA.  As an adult his favorite hobbies were brewing beer with his cousin Steven and his Fantasy Football group of brothers, cousins, and friends.

John leaves behind his parents Paul and Judy Kearley, his brothers David (Alexa) and Michael (Megan), his niece Taylor, and his nephews Drake, Grant, and Jackson, along with his grandparents Bernard and MaryAnn Mailloux and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents Edward and Winifred Kearley.

Because of Covid restrictions services will be private.

    I just wanted to send my heartfelt condolences to you. John was an excellent young man who was an outstanding student and FFA member. I remember his interaction with other students in class using his quick wit followed with a smile, he had that ability of light humor which made teaching fun. I am praying for comfort and peace during this time for your family. Please also get my condolences to Michael.

  3. I will miss you Jon. I will never forget the patience and kindness you showed me when I started at the USDA. You were alway so willing to help and teach me. I was so scared and nervous. Thank you for being you Jonathan. Men like you are far and few in-between. My heart is broken. I pray for you to find peace and your family to find some comfort at a time there is none. Mr. & Mrs Kearley my heart goes out to you. Jonathan was an amazing kiddo. There are no words.
