I have so many memories of you breaking the rules, instigating shenanigans, giving me advice, and howling with laughter. I remember watching you and Dad hollering jokes at each other and slinging barbs that would have made anyone else cringe, but it was how you both showed love. You were a bit of a rebel. You were never made of the sweet, sticky stuff that other grandmothers seemed to be composed of…you were fierce, fiery, and always in search of the next adventure. Thank you for showing me that it was okay to put on your best lipstick and walk a different path. Rest in peace Grandma, with much love, jenn
