June 1, 2026 at 10:15 amDeborah suffered from Huntington disease as all watched her deteriorating slowly from 2015 until her death in 2021.
She needed total sacrifice from her closest family until she was relieved by her death 16 years after the onset of the disease until she lost her life. Thanks to all their sacrifice of those to try to preserve her.

February 25, 2021 at 5:10 amSteve, Jason, Paul, Keith, & Kim,
I want you all to know how very special Debbie was to me. There were six of us girl cousins that grew up together, although just a few years apart & myself being the only one a generation above the others. Donna & I were just a few years older, so we were the big shots, with the younger ones tagging along. We had so much fun together. I NEVER saw Debbie mad or nothing but a smile on her face & full of sweetness. Her dad was my dad’s nephew & was always at our house because as he always told me, Uncle Bert was more like his father than his own. He said when they lived in Oklahoma, when he saw Uncle Bert coming up that dirt road that he had something for them to eat. Throughout their lives they were inseparable. Debbie definitely had her fathers personality, always laughing or happy about something. Those dimples were so infectious, I will always remember that smiling face. As the older generation passes on, life seems to take us in different directions & that is so sad, but please know how much she will always be in my heart. Steve, you are to be commended for all the years you cared for Debbie having to suffer that horrible affliction. As my Mother would say, there is a star in heaven for you. May God bless all of you and comfort you at this time of great loss in your lives.
I’m sorry because of health reasons, that I cannot be there to give you my condolences, but please know that I’m there with you in spirit.
Fly high with your new wings Debbie, we will miss you, but God needed you more.
Your cousin Susan**
