Jane was born in Turlock to Charles and Gertrude Greer. She grew up in Denair and graduated from Denair High School in 1974. She graduated from the Modesto Junior College nursing program. She worked as a nurse at Community Hospital, Emanuel Hospital and finished out her career as a nurse at Deuel Vocational Institution.
Jane spent her retirement years on her farm in Denair. Jane enjoyed her bible study group at Denair Friends Church and working in the memorial rose garden at the church.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Gertrude Greer, and brothers James S. Greer and John B. Greer.
Jane is survived by her husband George Jacobson of Denair, her siblings Charles (Jane) Greer of Denair, Ann (Bob) Church of Columbia, MO, Sally Green of Yreka, Doris (Tim) Stiles of Denair and sister in law Patti Greer of Denair. She is also survived my many nieces and nephews.
