September 1945 – November 2020
Paul passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his wife, Janie. After a two-year battle with cancer, he is now free at last. Not only did Paul give her the key to his heart, he also gave her the key to unlock the door so he could move on to peace and freedom. His ashes will be returning home.
Paul Marcaurel was born in San Pedro, CA and resided in Turlock, CA. He was in the US Air Force for four years during the Vietnam War, A1C, as part of the Security Police Squadron from 1967 to 1970, and was honorably discharged.
Tall, dark and handsome, Paul was gifted with a great personality and sense of humor. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid fan of the S.F. Giants and 49ers. He also enjoyed playing a good hand of poker with his neighbors.
Paul worked most of his life in the beverage industry and was very well known to all. He worked in management, starting with Pepsi Cola in Milpitas, Showerman Dist. Miller Beer in San Jose, and then later retiring from Bottomley Dist. Budweiser Beer in Milpitas.
After retirement, he enjoyed playing golf at many local golf courses, and was known as “Montana” when booking his tee times.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Janie, mother-in-law Sacorra Grady, sister-in-law Jeanne Kelley and her two children (Justin and Kristi), brother-in-law Stephan Nance and his two children (Joseph and Candice), and his brother Dallas Jensen.
In lieu of flowers, if you’d like, you may make a charitable donation in Paul’s memory to the American Institution of Cancer Research.
Private services will be held for immediate family only on Dec. 4, 2020 at Allen Mortuary, Turlock.

December 30, 2020 at 10:06 pmPaul and I worked together at Pepsi Cola in Milpitas, and before that in Sunnyvale. He was known around the Pepsi plant as “The Doctor”, mainly because he use to sell Dr. Pepper from his truck on his route. Paul was one of my top salesmen. He was loved by all. Paul was a jokester and always Seemed to have fun no matter where you were. He was very talented, and I always remember the Super Bowl Pool’s he would lavishly make. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to Janie and his family. Rest in peace “Doctor”.

December 2, 2020 at 10:37 pmJanie, our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time.
We met Paul five years ago when we moved here. When he found out that we were BIG 49’er and Giants fans, we became instant friends! Over the years we had many opportunities to celebrate and anguish over our teams!
He was a great guy and we feel fortunate to have known him and you as well.
You’re in our hearts during this very difficult time.

We were all blessed to have known Paul and will truly miss him. If you need anything please let me know, love you.
