Philip Arvid Paulson
Philip Arvid Paulson, 91 was born in Watford City, North Dakota to Alvin and Hannah Paulson. He passed away on July 16th 2026.
His parents moved to Hilmar, California, where Philip attended Hilmar Schools. After graduating High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Before leaving to serve his country, he met the love of his life Arlene, they shared 71 years of marriage. After serving in the Air Force as a staff sergeant they returned to the family farm in Delhi, California with their two sons Greg and Doug. Philip worked the family farm and was a diesel mechanic at Foster Farms until he retired.
Philip is survived by his wife Arlene Paulson, son Doug (Jodi) Paulson, 7 granchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Hannah Paulson, brother Ronald Paulson, son Greg Paulson, and great grandson Fred VonGunten III.
Services with military honors will be held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California on Friday, August 14th at 11:00am.

August 15, 2026 at 10:04 amI remember meeting Arvid several times; he visited his relatives in North Dakota occasionally with his parents. We also attended his wedding in California. Blessings to his family from his cousins in ND!
