Ray L. Buckmaster passed away July 12 at the age of 97.
He is survived by his three daughters, Diane Wilson of LaVerne, Susanne Bennett (husband Mike) of Oakdale, Sally Johnson (husband Jerry) of Yuba City: 6 grandchildren, Micah Wilson (wife Michaeli), Meghan Russnak (husband Jeremy), Sarah Bennett (husband Joe Wilcox), Amy Bennett, Greta Buehler (husband Jonathan), Erika Johnson (husband Jered Ratliff): 5 great grandchildren, and 3 step great grandchildren.
Ray was born in Anaheim and lived in southern CA until he, his wife and 3 daughters moved to Oakdale in 1962. In April 2000, he and his wife moved to Covenant Village of Turlock. He was a machinist at Aerojet and 10 years before retirement he worked at Hershey’s in Oakdale. He had been a long time member of Modesto Covenant Church and more recently Turlock Covenant Church.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 4 at 2PM at Covenant Village Berg Hall, 2125 North Olive Avenue, Turlock, CA.
