Rick Guzman of Ceres, CA has passed away at the age of 32 after a short illness. He was born in Modesto, CA to Ricardo and Genoveva Guzman and has lived in the area his entire life. He most recently worked at the Pepsi/Frito Lay Warehouse as a supervisor.

Rick was a person who brightened up a room when he came in. He was the life of the party anywhere he went. He loved watching his Giants play baseball and he loved his friends deeply. He would never let a friend feel alone. He seemed too light to let the world hold him down, in the words of a wise man, “When life gives you lemons, you make an Arnold Palmer with that shit.”

Rick is leaving his dog Morty to his sister Jenny who now reluctantly inherits the most loving pup. She now gets to fight with him on a daily basis, as she did with Rick.

Rick is survived by his parents Ricardo and Genoveva Guzman, his sisters Jennifer and Michelle, brother in law Mike and nephew and nieces Josiah, Aria and Mila, as well as his Grandmother Anita and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who will miss him deeply.

A Visitation will be held for Rick on Thursday, December 21 from 4-6pm.

A Rosary will be held on Thursday, December 21 starting at 6:00pm.

A Funeral will be held on Friday, December 22 starting at 3:00pm.  All located at Allen Mortuary.
