Sharon Dahlquist Cathcart passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the age of 76. Sharon deeply cared for the people around her. She loved her family, she loved to talk about their lives and was always proud of them. She cared about people; she never met a stranger and was always looking to connect people. It brought joy to her heart to make people happy. Sharon was committed to serving in her community in many arenas. She helped co-chair the MDA Stanislaus telethon, participated in Relay for life and served those less fortunate. Sharon learned how to drive a semitruck, loved to read, and was a diligent worker. She loved Jesus Christ and looked to serve others in the church in many ways.
Sharon is survived by her husband Larry Cathcart, daughters; Robin Lauck (Kurt), Darla Dahlquist, Stacy Blanton (Jeff), Shelly Schmidt (Jerry) and brother Mark Kleingartner (Vanice). She is also survived by her loving grandkids Nicole, Rebecca, Triston, Kristene, Marshall, Ricky, Bryan, Elizabeth, Sophia, Adreena, Gwendolyn, Chase, Kenny, Kurtis, and great grandson Addison. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Virginia Kleingartner , her brother Tim Kleingartner, and granddaughter Elizabeth “Lizzie” Dahlquist. Sharon loved her family, they loved her. She was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, she will be missed.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 11:00 am at Monte Vista Chapel in Turlock.
