John was a loving father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him for his great sense of humor, his willingness to lend a helping hand, his thoughtfulness for those around him, his selfless and giving nature, and his love for the Dallas Cowboys.
He is survived by his children, Ashley Baldonado, Jared Denys, and Kirsten Denys, all of Riverbank CA, as well as eight grandchildren.
He is also survived by his father John Denys II of Turlock CA, his brother Ray Hayes of Riverbank CA and his sister Samantha Shatswell, of Oakdale CA.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Escalera of Oakdale, CA
A celebration of John’s life will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, Sept. 29 at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway in Turlock. Interment will be private.
